Thanassis started at United Airlines (UAL) as an Account Executive where he developed expertise in the airline sector for market strategies, public relations, interfacing with external agencies and developing business plans. He was founding member and CEO of Orion Airways.
As a commercial manager for Superfast Ferries he was instrumental in developing a quality product making the Company a market leader. He was a director of Sky Europe, the first value cost airline for Eastern Europe based in Vienna.
He has acquired this extensive experience with distribution networks not only of airlines but all competing modes of transport. He is also a certified commercial pilot. Thanassis graduated from SGU, Oxford, UK with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He has more than 20 years’ experience in aviation.
Nick graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Accounting and Finance followed by post graduate work at Harvard. Nick is a CPA, certified in the state of California, USA.
He worked as a CPA for a number of years in the US in top and mid-tier firms. He then went on to private industry as a founding member and CFO of easyJet until its flotation and then joined easy Group as CFO/COO where he was involved in extending the easy brand to other industries.
After easyJet/easyGroup, Nick joined Sky Europe, a publicly listed airline in the CEE as CFO. After Sky Europe, he co-founded DRS SRO, a restructuring firm in Slovakia. He joined Orion Airways as CFO. In total, Nick has almost 25 years of experience in Aviation.
Manoli graduated from Nathaniel Hawthorne College USA, with a degree in Airline management/Commercial pilot , followed by a Masters degree in MBA from AIB Australia.
He worked as travel consultant and sales for GSA representing Spanair, Tap Air Portugal and Transbrasil for a number of years and he started TEAirlines in Greece 22 years ago where he was General manager and accountable for JAR OPS1 operations.
As operations manager with MIDO aviation group he had the opportunity to develop wet lease experience in the airline sector, he interfaced with external government and private agencies and developed business plans until they became viable entities.
In total Manoli has more than 30 years experience in aviation.
